1955 Puch MS 50

1955 - Puch MS 50

This is the first model of Puch mopeds sold in Sweden. The grey MS 50 was manufactured in 1954, and was a surplus store of 300 imported by the Swedish wholesaler. In 1955 the next model, the red MS 50 L, was already for sale in Austria.

This specimen has only 4560 kilometers on the meter, and is a nice object to restore. Missing parts are the parcel carrier and one of the engine covers, but I have some NOS parts in store. The parts that are hard to get like the tire pump, the special cylinder cover and the horn are all intact.

The fuel tank holds 3 litres and the moped total weight is 43 kg ready to drive. It has a 0,8 hp, fan cooled, 49 cc motor with 38 mm bore and 43 mm stroke lenght, 2 gears and half sized wheel hubs.
1957 Puch Lyx, VS 50 L

1957 - Puch Lyx, VS 50 L

Yet another VS 50 L to the collection. An unusual color originally wine red but bleached to red brown. A 0.8 hp fan-cooled engine with pedal start and two-speed hand shifted gearbox. The toolboxes was enclosured but were not mounted.

A nice moped with an unusual color. All my mopeds are painted in there original colors. It would not feel right cheating by painting a red one to yellow.

1968 Puch Dakota, VZ 50, VZ 50 V3

1968 - Puch Dakota, VZ 50

The 1968 Dakota, another classic moped. A good object without any rust. Note the fenders at the rear mudguard and low handlebars. A speedometer with grey background, a fuel tank without dents, exhaust pipe and a silencer body is missing. Soon as I have these items I will start renovate.
